There were a few positives at Almondvale on Saturday: 1) Aberdeen will not be returning to West Lothian again for at least a season; 2) Ross County lost; 3) We are another week closer to the end of a dismal season.

Peter Leven opted for an unchanged side, perhaps surpsingly given Duk and Dante Polvara’s impact of the bench the week previous. It was the tale of two Bojan Miovski chances. The first he failed to convert when clean through. The second he emphatically finished in the final minute only for VAR to intervene. Angus MacDonald was determined to have been offside from Clarkson’s later free-kick but no lines were provided by the SPFL.
